Several members of Clermont County’s GIS staff have attained Professional Certifications such as GISP and AICP.  A GISP is a certified geographic information systems (GIS) professional who has met the minimum standards for ethical conduct and professional practice as established by the GIS Certification Institute (GISCI).  An AICP is a certification obtained through the American Institute of Certified Planners.  The American Institute of Certified Planners is the professional institute under the American Planning Association that certifies urban and regional planners to verify their qualifications and ethical commitment.
